Workshop Consumables & Lab Supplies
To ensure a premium, hands-on review experience, EMS Proficient Mobile Phlebotomy Service LLC provides full access to top-tier, medical-grade clinical materials at every workstation. There is no need to purchase or bring outside supplies to your session. Your clinical fee directly covers a dedicated, personal allotment of the following OSHA-compliant consumables and personal protective equipment (PPE) utilized during your practical validation counts:

Evacuated Collection Tubes: Full color-coded sets of standard vacuum tubes including Sodium Citrate (Light Blue), Serum/SST (Gold/Red), Heparin (Green), EDTA (Lavender), and Oxalate (Gray).

Multi-Sample Needles: Standard 21G and 22G straight needles with integrated safety shielding covers.
​
Winged Infusion Sets (Butterfly Needles): Flexible 23G tubing sets for reviewing fragile or pediatric draw techniques.
​
Needle Holders / Hubs: Plastic adapters to connect multi-sample needles securely to vacuum collection tubes.
​
Skin Prep Supplies: 70% Isopropyl alcohol pads and non-alcoholic antiseptic swabs.
​
Hemostasis Gear: Single-use stretch tourniquets, 2x2 gauze pads, paper tape, and adhesive bandages.
Safety & Biohazard Compliance

At EMS Proficient Mobile Phlebotomy Service LLC, the safety of our participants and instructors is our highest priority. Our workshop clinical facility strictly adheres to all standard regulatory guidelines to maintain a sterile, risk-free environment. All attendees are required to strictly follow the safety protocols outlined below during their practical session:

OSHA Universal Precautions: All participants must treat all lab consumables and training gear with the same strict standard of care as live clinical environments.

Mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Form-fitting nitrile exam gloves and disposable lab coats must be worn at all times while handling needles, collection tubes, or sharps. PPE is fully provided at your station.

Immediate Sharps Disposal: Multi-sample needles, winged infusion sets (butterfly needles), and safety lancets must be disposed of in the puncture-proof, OSHA-compliant Sharps Containers immediately following use. Retapping or modifying needles is strictly prohibited.

Biohazard Waste Management: Any gauze, gloves, bandages, or alcohol pads utilized during practice must be deposited exclusively into the designated, clearly marked red Biohazard Disposal Bags. Regular trash is strictly reserved for non-contaminated packaging only.

Sanitation & Station Maintenance: Attendees must utilize medical-grade Surface Disinfectant Wipes to completely sanitize their personal clinical review stations both before and after their practical validation sessions.
