How It Works

Scientific Testing

The test isolates cell-free fetal DNA from a small sample of the mother's blood. It then uses highly sensitive quantitative real-time PCR (Polymerase chain Reaction) technology to check for the presence of the male (Y) chromosome.

4. Choose a Date and Time: "Click the "Book Now" button next to the service . A calendar will appear showing all available dates and time slots. Select the time that works best for your schedule.

Results

If the Y chromosome is detected, it indicates a boy. If no Y chromosome is found, it indicates a girl.

Pricing & Requirements

Gestational Age: You must be at least 6 weeks pregnant to take the test.
Cost:Prices vary depending on the specific processing partner (which includes the concierge certified phlebotomy fee for collection the blood sample.
Availability: It is not currently validated for multi-fetal (twin) pregancies.
